20 Hysterical Pets That Just Don’t Understand How Anesthesia Works
Everyone knows that once you’ve been put under – whether it’s for a trip to the dentist or a surgery – it can take a while til we feel like ourselves again. Whether it’s the laughing gas itself or the painkillers that keep us from being on our toes, we feel goofy, giddy, loopy and silly afterwards. Not to mention the confusion! But we’ll be fine, we know.
Little Fido and Fluffy, on the other hand, don’t know what’s going on when they come out of anesthesia and suddenly can’t do much of anything. They trust their human friends to keep them from hurting themselves or getting into trouble while the anesthesia wears off, and it’s important to keep a close eye on your pets to make sure they don’t get into harm’s way. That being said, you are also totally allowed to laugh at them because, admit it, they look pretty funny!
