Whether you’re a master wrapper just running out of time, just realized you never picked up any wrapping supplies, or absolutely don’t understand how Santa manages to make it look so easy when wrapping Christmas gifts CLEARLY requires an advanced degree, we could all use a break when it comes to the holidays. Luckily, people smarter than you or I have come up with some amazing gift wrapping hacks to save you time, money, and hassle.

1.) Irregular or oddly-shaped gifts can be hard to deal with, but not if you wrap it like a piece of candy.

2.) Cut your wrapping time just by laying your gifts out diagonally! Here’s how:

3.) Low on wrapping paper? Here’s an idea that’s crafty, looks good, and is eco-friendly: use old t-shirts or old scraps of fabric! It’s actually a traditional way to wrap gifts in Japan.

4.) No good fabric scraps around? Grab the nearest bag of chips, pour ’em out, and turn the bag inside out. Wash it out and you have a shiny new way to wrap your presents?  A potato chip bag is also a super green, waste-free way to wrap your gifts.
